Sabzdunz version of the scavenging and malicious Grellan.
Elgard - artist James Rydell Esquivel
I am finding this the hardest of the aliens to design. They really need an iconic and unique look. Below is Jame’s take on the the three different types of Elgard classes.
The Warrior
The slave/cannon fodder.
The leaders - armour is more ceremonial mixed with robes.
Grellan - artist Marta Maszkiewicz
Grellan…the malicious, untrustworthy scavengers and slavers of the galaxy. I personally prefer the first version. Great work by Marta!
Uszgardian - artist Ameilee Sullivan
I don’t know about you, but are you also feeling a little Boris Vallejo with this latest image from Ameilee? This is her rendition of the Uszgardian.
Artist: Ameilee Sullivan
Uszgardian - artist Nurmiev Ilnar
Check out Nurmiev’s first look into the Ursurian Project. His take on the Uszgardian is leaner the most others. It works too I think.
Cormaelae - artist Marta Maszkiewicz
Marta’s first foray into the Ursurian Project is to tackle the Cormaelae.

Untitled monster - artist Sabzdunz
Sabzdunz next addition is his version of the untitled Monster. Not the ideal dinner guest…
Uszgardian - artist Sean Salas
A sketch by Sean with his first look at the Uszgardians.
Untitled monster - artist Ameilee Sullivan
Ameilee’s first contribution to the project is her version of the yet to be titled large monster. Linked below is her version and…well…mine from 30 years ago haha
Lyntinian - artist James Rydell Esquivel
Jame’s first foray into designing the Lyntinian.
Elgard - artist Sean Salas
Sean’s first few sketches on the Elgards.
Elgard - artist Andrew Dodor
First attempt by artist Andrew Dodor on the Elgard. This will be the hardest species to design. We need an iconic “evil” race that stands out from all the others e.g. Orks
Uszgardian - artist Sabzdunz
Sabzdunz first contribution to the project was to have a crack at the Uszgardians. You can see the design process here and the creative decisions we made along the way.

Gandrah - artist James Rydell Esquivel
James contribution so far to the project!
His first attempt at the Gandrah. Notes given after seeing this was to give the armour a bit more of futuristic feel. Also to change the body structure to be less human,
James second attempt. You can clearly the see the changes in armour and body structure.
