GRELLAN

Malicious, sneaky, distrustful and skulking wimps. They are the vultures that scavenges battlefields, raid remote settlements, pirate, and enslave. One of the few species that are physically inferior to humans and are roughly 5 feet tall.

Grellan technology is more about making a foe submit. Their spacecraft are designed more for escaping detection then fighting.

Really not sure about the horns…honestly, their design is an open book at this stage.

Concept 1

I love the overall body structure. Quite humanoid. Looking at the face you don’t know whether you can trust this creature or not.

The horns aren’t so threatening or imposing which is great. They are more of an afterthought.

Their clothing is still yet to be designed so I am not paying too much attention to it. I do like the suit though. You could apply that to a human.

HARGARIS

On the fringe of the galaxy lies a lush planet in an uncharted star system. Discovered by the Creator God Egrarigd and Ursula, they found the planet to be inhabited by a very primitive species still struggling with concept of fire. With contempt and hatred, Egrarigd buried his traitorous brother Hargaris deep within the planets surface. Ursula placed wards of security and they departed never to return, leaving their brother to meditate for eternity in solitude for his actions of betrayal.

Their mistake was believing Hargaris would slowly ebb away into nothing and cease to exist. Ursula had faith her wards would last and hold him until they deemed fit to release him. Egrarigd simply chose to forget his brother.

Wallowing in his anger, despair, and bitterness, Hargaris indeed could not escape. But Hargaris is a Creator God, a titan of power. His very presence changes those around him…and eventually, due to his corrupt and malicious nature, the very planet itself slowly began to change. The primitive people, Grellan, started to become influenced by Hargaris. They began to his adopt his cunning and corrupt ways and a sharp intelligence that quickly advanced their society faster then what was expected.

Now known throughout the galaxy for their insipid and malevolent deeds, the Grellan prey upon the weak, barter with the corrupt and soulless, and avoid what hostilities they can. No one actually knows or is yet to discover where the Grellan homeworld is. Those outsiders that do visit arrive in Grellan slave ships and are used to work the mines and asteroid belts and farm the fields.

With the coming of the new war and the death of Ursula, the wards of Hargaris’ prison, though holding, are starting to weaken. A new agenda has arisen in the Grellan nation, harvest the planet, dig and find the reward that lies within their planet. They know not that the “reward” is Hargaris himself. The Creator God is pushing forth his will and maybe one day will find release.
