USZGARDIAN
One of the more private and elusive species in the story. When and if they do attack it is done on their terms. Ambush and surprise, they burst from the water and swamps dragging unsuspected victims back into the depths.
Stubborn, argumentative, suspicious and quick to anger. Yet they are also incorruptible, and have no malice or greed.
An aquatic species, they can also survive outside of water but it is not a preferred habitat.
Webbed hands and feet, gills, spines, their clothing is more for modesty. Their armour is light, preferring to rely on their speed and agility.

Concept 1
I love the face in this design. It is terrifying and has an intelligence to it.
The attire is fine as well but could look more futuristic.
The spines and webbing are perfect.

Concept 2
This looks great. I would lean towards experimenting with the face from Concept 1 and just making the armour and weapons a bit more futuristic. I love that he is not completely covered in armour. They are aquatic after all and don’t want to sink.
I would lose the shield and trident. It’s a bit too fantasy and the audience will be expecting tridents in an aquatic species.
Still deciding on the tail…
